I arrived at Momiji after an early morning trek to Itsukushima Shrine, Hiroshima Castle, and Peace Park so I definitely worked up an appetite. I kept hearing about the delicious shellfish of this region and this izakaya fit my needs perfectly. The staff took my order and my meal was ready shortly. I chose their fried oyster set meal. The salad and miso soup were nice starters. The fried oysters were delicious and I could’ve finished a dozen if I wanted (LOL). The beer also tasted even better after all the walking I had just finished. I had a nice time at Momiji and I’m sure you’ll also enjoy it here.

I will definitely visit this restaurant again. お昼時に伺いました。12時前に行ったのですが、人がまばらに居て、12時を過ぎると列ができていました。牡蠣フライ定食を注文しましたが、740円で凄まじいボリュームの牡蠣フライを食べることができます。身がぷりぷりの牡蠣フライが5つで大満足でした。夜はバーとして営業しているみたいなので、また再訪したいと思っています！

First, I want to review this restaurant in English. I visited this restaurant(bar?) during lunch time. Small chain location in Hiroshima that is very convenient to the peace park. Tempura oysters are the specialty and the set lunch menu is a good value which has generous portions. Fresh oysters also available that were very good.

I really wanted to eat there but the stuff made low effort to help me to get around. There was no English menu and the QR code didn’t work. After a long wait I left the restaurant. The served dishes looked tasty, unfortunately I was not able to...
