I deliberately didn’t want to go to a cafe with animals in Japan since I’ve heard about the barbaric treatment of pets in such places - pretty much in every the dog and cat cafe that we passed at different times, the animals looked frankly worn-out and exhausted. However after peeking through the window of Moff we figured that the staff are the ones worn-out and exhausted here, whereas the cats were living their best lives.
I’ve never seen more playful, impudent and well-groomed cats in my entire life. They might come off as hungry, but in reality they just like to eat 😜 And one have to feed them with a spoon, which is so cute. The size of the treats are adequate - just enough to grab cat’s attention but not too big to overfeed.
The cafe has a lot of reasonable restrictions towards visitors, but still there are tons of secluded places where a cat can hide. They can even go to another room which is closed to visitors. There are viewing shelves, boxes, beds and scratching posts everywhere. No smell whatsoever.
That very same day we saw another cafe of this franchise at a shopping mall - the cats also looked well groomed, well fed and happy. So this franchise looks like a place where cats get the best treatment they can. I would definitely come over again if I have a chance. The price is a bit on the higher side but let us not forget that the pets are well treated there which requires...
Read moreI’ve been to many cat cafes all over Japan and in the world, Moff Hiroshima has my heart❤️ The atmosphere here is calming and healing, the drinks are delicious, and the cats are well-cared-for and absolutely adorable. I loved being able to relax and unwind while petting these sweet furballs. There is a very special employee, her name is “Asami,” She shows cat tricks to customers and tries to give each customer a very memorable experience. She’s the true gem, so friendly, welcoming, and passionate about the cats.
This location is situated in a beautiful and bright area of Hiroshima, right across from the Peace Memorial Park. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by this cat cafe. It’s a magical place that makes your day so much brighter, and Asami truly made my visits unforgettable! I’ll definitely...
Read moreWe liked the cafe and we found one of the cats that was willing to play. We were a bit annoyed as we didn’t fully realize how the pricing was for this place. You pay 700 yen for 30 minutes and you must also buy a drink which is a minimum of 440 yen. So it cost 1140 yen for 30 minutes and if we went over the time at all, we would be charged an additional 250 yen so we put an alarm on our phone to keep the visit to 30 minutes. Getting in and out of the reception/ locker area took 4 minutes of our 30 minutes. We went more for the novelty of it. The cats seem well cared for and loved. Lots of toys to entice and play with them. Treats cost 200 yen which we...
