Grill & Deli Lave — Restaurant in Hiroshima

This is a wonderful place to find vegan and gluten free food in Hiroshima. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. The flavors are balanced well. I liked everything I ate. Allergy info is clearly labeled on everything.

I would have put 5 stars if the vegan Caesar salad had been properly labeled. Although it states that it is gluten free (the komugi/小麦 box was left unchecked), the salad is topped with a grain mix that has barley in it. komugi/小麦 means wheat and not gluten, so technically it’s correct, but anyone who is gluten sensitive will have an issue. Luckily the barley is whole so it was obvious what it was and I was able to switch with my partner, but it would have been better if it were labeled as komugi/小麦.

If they decide to update their menu, I’d be happy to change my rating. The food was top-notch and I’ll definitely go back next time I’m...

This place is an amazing resort style dining! Especially good for beef!!! This is a brand new one just opens!! The terrace is wonderful! The are open fire grill in the center of the terrace so when you order some a meat you can roast it by yourself!! The foods are super fancy and looks healthy! Drinks are also awesome! I’m sure you can find your favor one! Looks like there are wine buffer this means you can drink wine as much as you want! Great! The seats indoor is also good! They have some outlet so you can charge for your phone! And I didn’t order a dessert this time but I saw a dessert case the desserts looks art works! Hi everyone, I have lived in Japan now for seven and a half years. I came here tonight with my two Japanese friends, I just wish to say the service was appalling, and unfortunately a bit rude. We asked more than twice for our drinks to come on three separate occasions. The staff did not seem interested at all. Generally, I have found that customer service is Japan is phenomenal, so perhaps, I do set the bar a little high. The kitchen staff were absolutely lovely, and thank you so much to them. The food as well, I have no issue.
