Okonomiyaki (salty pancake) is the soul food of Hiroshima. I came to this local place to taste this dish, and it was a very casual and fun experience. I ordered a soba noodle okonomiyaki, and it was very filling and yum. I enjoyed watching the chef cook the meal right there in front of me. Payment seemed only cash. Overall, great local experience.

For those travelling Hiroshima and want to have some Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, look no further. Open late, the food is immaculate, filling, and cheap - a great alternative to the nearby (tourist-trappy) Okonomimura . Service is spectacular and you can tell they put a lot of care into their work. Don't expect a lot of English since it's a dive-style eatery, but an English menu is...
