This is one of the famous tourist spots for okonomiyaki in Hiroshima. The decor is great and even customers seated at tables (instead of the counter) have a clear view of the preparation area. It's a little mesmerizing to watch the food being carefully prepared, step-by-step, and the chefs at Micchan have a lot of flair. The food itself is a good example of okonomiyaki, but not my favorite in the city. Because of the fame, prices here are also a little higher. In short, if you've never eaten okonomiyaki before and you want to try it while you visit Hiroshima, I would recommend Micchan as a good option to really experience how the food is made and served.
