Marifu Coffee Roaster Kamiyacho Store — Restaurant in Hiroshima

I found it quite disappointing. The BTB sandwich, I can do better with zero effort and 5 minutes in my own kitchen. Coffee tasted burned and worst of all was served way too hot and burned the mouth. Inside it is SO LOUD, far too loud to read, study or relax. It took 25 minutes for service because they gave me the wrong order first. This is okay, I think the lady was new on the job and the staff seem very stressed and rushed. She was kind and apologetic. I didn't mind waiting, but when the food is also really bland and the price is quite high too, it's 4 for 4 now. So you're down to 1 star. I will go to Obscura now to make...

Very bad service. Waiting time was more than 20 minutes for curry (thats super long for Japan in general) and first time they brought to the table the wrong order and just one pair of cutlery for table of two, so we have to repeat our order all over again and ask for additional cutlery set. By the time they finally brought our curry, the coffee was already cold (they changed coffee for new one because of that so I guess that’s a plus). Came here in the afternoon and was not disappointed. A lot of room, and we sat in a private booth. It looks like a place well-suited for bigger groups.

We enjoyed our set meals, with one of the staff patiently helping us order. The earl grey waffles had a good crunchy texture, and the katsu sandwich was hearty. Really worth the money, and we were also able to buy beans...
