I cannot understand how this place has 4.2 Google reviews because we literally advised two other tourist couples as we were leaving to turn around and leave before being seated. We heard loud music and figured we could tolerate it because we were really in the mood for a non-fast food beef burger. A pleasant guy promptly took our order, but we had to endure 20-25 min of cigarette smoke and awful hip/hop music before the food arrived. We were aware of no one else ordering food, just drinks at the bar. Read moreThe shack was honestly the only real place to go and drink in Hiroshima during weekdays as we were not there for the weekend and most other places were quiet or closed. They have a pool table, darts and a small dance floor. You can also cue your own music from YouTube which was a nice touch. The Mexican pizza was one of the best Mexican pizzas in terms of flavour we have tried in Japan but it was surprising that the quesadills were so bad in comparison because the Mexican pizza was so good. I would definitely advise Shack staff to change the quesadills recipe to a similar sauce to the Mexican pizza. Overall it was a very good bar with friendly staff, if we ever come back to Hiroshima we would...
