Purchased two VENTI cafe lattes from them and proceeded to go on the 3rd floor.

I kept to myself and ate a sandwich leftover from the previous place I visited prior to Starbucks.

I was confronted by a staff member and told to stop eating my sandwich or else.

I've been to many Starbucks around the world (USA, Canada, Philippines), and this is the ONLY Starbucks that has this archaic policy.

Always a long waiting line when we visited. This 3-floor Starbucks was very popular on the east end of Hondori. Staff members were friendly and coffee service was sufficiently fast. The place was clean and the tables were neatly arranged. If lucky, might get a limited window seat for good view over the crowded Hondori pedestrian traffic.

It's one of the closest Starbucks to Iwakuni but comes with significant downsides. No easy nearby parking as it's located on Hondori Street but very convenient if you're already walking around.
