Royal Host Nishikagoshima — Restaurant in Kagoshima

It was a rainy day and my wife and I came here for some comfort style food. A place where we could have American food or Japanese food. It did not disappoint. I had a set meal of spaghetti bognese, salad, a cup of soup (very delicious),a small dessert, and a drink from the self-serve berage bar. My wife had clubhouse sandwich with fries, and a drink from the beverage bar. We also shared a stack of 3 pancakes. The total cost was 3,927 Yen. A very reasonable price for all the things we got. Great food and service at very reasonable prices. Menus are bi-lingual Japanese/English. From Kagoshima-Chuo Station it is a 10 minute walk or get tram #2 bound for Korimoto, alight at 2nd stop (Nakasudori) and walk 2 minutes...

久しぶりに家族とロイヤルホストへ行こうとうきうきで来たのですが、料理が出てくるまでかなりの時間を待たされました。やっとでてきたと思えば料理が冷めた状態で出てきて非常に残念。アヒージョというものは普通火傷するくらい熱々のオリーブオイルで煮た具材をバケットに乗せて食べるものだと思っていたのですが、オイルは手でさわれるレベルにぬるい状態で出てきました。ステーキもお世辞にも熱々のステーキとはいえず、ぬるーい筋の入ったお肉。 久しぶりに家族と来たのになんだか悲しくなりました。かと思えば私達よりあとに来た隣の席の人は鉄板か何かのジュージューと焼ける音がしながら商品をすぐに持ってきてもらっていて、このお店は人を選んで提供しているのかもしれません。

何か事情があるとするなら三人家族でいってセットだけじゃなくアラカルトも複数頼んだので、キッチンが忙しくなっちゃったかな？とフォローするくらいです。三人家族の料理程度で逼迫するキッチンはレストランとしてどうかとは思いますが…もしくは同時に出てきたので、家族全員揃って出してあげようという人のあたたかさかもしれませんが、人はあたたかくても料理が冷え冷えならバラバラでいいからあたたかい料理を出してほしかったです。
