Being from Germany, a country with a sizeable Turkish population (and birthplace of the Döner Kebab), I've been to quite a few Turkish restaurant in my time, but this one beats them all. The food was simply fantastic. Part of the reason is probably that Boris, the owner, makes pretty much everything himself. We wanted to eat vegetarian, and the place had plenty of options to choose from. The falafel was much softer and not so dry as is often the place, and the spinach pide was was topped work delicious cheese and had great seasoning. We also had hummus and another kind of spicy appetizer, together with Turkish bread, both excellent. The restaurant stocks a nice collection of Turkish wine and beer, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The restaurant is right across from Kamakura Station.

Edit: I’m changing my two-star review to one. I know how halloumi is supposed to taste—I grew up in Europe and have tried many kinds of cheese, if you know what I mean. Four of us dined there, and we all agreed the halloumi was overly salty and tough to chew, as if it were old. There’s no excuse for this, and your response came across as if you were blaming us. Very unprofessional. Halloumi was really hard to bite and it’s TOO salty, it’s like it’s been old for days. The other dishes were good/okay level. I find the price a bit compared to other restaurants, side dishes costs the same as the normal main dishes (3 pieces of halloumi for ¥900yen. In total we spent ¥5000/two people.

This was a nice experience for me. I took pictures of the updated menu and prices. Unfortunately they don't have the lamb on hummus anymore so I just went to try the Grilled Minced Lamb. Their craft beers selection is from Japan, the Turkish food is prepared by the owner himself. Very delicious food! The owner is very nice and kind. I'll go back to eat some more kebab cause it was just really good. The store is located at the 3rd floor and they have steep stairs. This is just outside of Kamakura Station. Must visit!

Barış is not only the owner of this amazing place, but also the soul of it. He’s a genuinely kind and welcoming person who makes you feel right at home. But let’s talk about the real star: the beers! Easily the best craft beer selection in the area — thoughtfully curated and some with Barış’s own magical touch.

On top of that, the Anatolian food is outstanding. Every dish is rich in flavor, beautifully balanced with spices, and made with love. If you’re lucky enough to be here during sunset, the vibe becomes absolutely magical.

I feel so lucky to have found this place. A must-visit for anyone coming...
