This is a place worth travelling for, even just for the burger. We ordered the Kamakura burger, and Crispy Bacon Cheese burger (with egg topping). This is literally the best burger I ate in Japan. Taking a bite of the burger patty, smoky bacon, cheddar and mozzarella cheese in one bite… omg so delicious. The meat was so juicy and tender and so flavourful. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back. Also love the fact that when you order a soda, they give you the “full soda can” and a glass with ice. This is not some shop that tries to straight up scam you by giving your beverage with a ton of ice and less of the actual beverage. Props to Rooftops. In addition to the food and drink, the service and atmosphere was spot on. Eating at the rooftop of the place just made the food taste better. There is an outside terrace and an indoors. Choose which place you prefer. This place is popular so expect there to be a queue during peak times. Well worth the wait.

Absolutely awesome burgers! If you are looking for something different and unique, this is definitely the place. I went for the doughnut burger which I have never seen before in my life and was vindicated in my choice. The personal touch is also great. Each table gets a numbered animal after ordering. It is very creative and very cute. The only thing that seems to be lacking is the terrace. It is really quite a shame, because we visited the restaurant in order to enjoy the view. However it was summer, and the outdoor area is completely open so we could not handle the heat. I am not sure if the terrace is better in winter or is sealed off at some time of the year, but summer is definitely not the right time to sit outside.

Possibly the best burger place in Japan. All places I’ve been to since here have not stacked up to it. First the place itself. Great environment and clean set up. Would definitely bring friends here. Second the burger. The patty was delicious and juicy, and a decent size. The buns and topping on the burger were great compliments to the patty and over was a great burger. For me, it was a sweat spot of happily full. Third the sides. Salad was great with a variety of greens and a delicious dressing to boot. The onion rings! My, my, these were sooooo good. Fresh and crispy. I can’t wait to go back to this burger place. I just wish I had a bigger stomach so I can taste more of the menu.

Previously I reviews this burger place at 5. The service alone moved it down to a 2. We were kept waiting for almost 15 minutes. We assumed because it’s so busy but no, most of the tables were empty and we counted 3 customers. Ignoring customers is unforgivable. Burger was decent but why tell us to write on the waiting list when the restaurant is almost empty. I hope the owner reads this and takes action because I want to love this place and the burgers are still great. Old review - Truely the best burger i had in three years living in Japan and i love burgers. It is a MUST try. The beef patties are super high quality.

O M G. How have I been here to Kamakura so many times and just NOW trying this place??!?! By far, hands down, the best burger I have ever had...ever. To include the USA. GAWD DAMN! That burger patty....geezus! The potatoes served with the burger...awesome! The decor inside...SO cool! The burger patty...did I mention how freaken awesome the burger patty is?! Juicy, juicy and the flavor profile...WOW. Bring a bib! Add an egg! Come hungry! Everything is delicious!!! The staff are awesome too! Fabulous job to the cook in the kitchen!! Thanks, man!! I'll be back!

I ordered the new classic burger (pico de gallo and chipotle aioli) and it tasted great! My only complaint is making the burger taller rather than making the burger wider. It’s quite difficult to eat and very messy this way. The “French fries” tasted good as well although small portion. The atmosphere is nice and it was easy to get seating on the terrace! The restaurant is on the sixth floor so it offers a great view on sunny days. They also had staff who spoke both Japanese and English, which is helpful for foreigners! (Menus available in English as well)
