Very nice old couple running the place. They speak enough english to be able to serve you and they are very welcoming. They try to make a connection with their customers and you really feel welcome. The sushi is really delicious. As someone else in the reviews pointed out, you get a minimal english menu, which was basically 2 omakase options. As far as I could tell there were mostly locals there and they probably ask the chef what he has and what he can prepare and he does it if he can. I’m sure if you pointed at a dish that someone else was having and asked for it, he would do it with pleasure. Overall really great experience!...

It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a guest, not just a customer. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kamakura and looking for an authentic...
