Of all the goodbyes I had to say at the end of my studies in Kanazawa, this one was the hardest. Coffee stand hana was my regular pit stop for studies, a conversation and really great coffee and food. The owners are amazing and must be cherished. I will miss them dearly and hope to see them in the future. I will forever go out of my way in Japan to visit Shimpei and Yasuko again at their cafe. Hands down THE BEST CAFE in Kanazawa. Handmade cakes and cookies, funky drinks and their lunch boxes are SOSOSOSO good. Not to mention the interior is so thoughtfully designed and the owners are the most おしゃれ couple ever. A lot of cafes aren’t study friendly but this one is, I spend hours here just vibing, studying, eating their delicious food, so vibey. I wish i could rate more than 5 stars. We found this coffee place by chance cause we wanted a break from the crazy afternoon heat.
