Excellent fresh local fish. Fantastic service. I went on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar alone with no wait. With little Japanese and Google translate in hand, I was able to order and received amazing service. I ordered the May special set: katsuo (skipjack) tataki , shiso and cheese croquettes, rice, miso, and pickled vegetables. The katsuo was out of this world and priced fairly. I couldn’t help myself and ordered extra dishes. The kani (crab) croquette is AMAZING! Sooooo good! Creamy, crunch on the outside, fuwa fuwa on the inside. I also ordered Kanazawa’s famous amaebi (sweet shrimp ) sashimi off the menu. Yes you should get it!!!! I will return and highly recommend this restaurant above most...
