Finally, FINALLY got into to this spot! ☺ I typically eat at Sushiro so this place was an upgrade from that. I honestly can't say if its expensive/ たかい or not, but OMG, whatever! Worth the money spent! I finally got past my hang ups of eating crab butter ( for the uninitiated, that crab innards. Lol). I figured if I'm going to have a taste, why not from a joint that gets it the most freshest. And YUP, I'M A FAN! Gimme some crab butter and a freshly baked baguette...oh boy!
Can't go wrong with the crab three ways, the sashimi platters...really everything is delicious. Get there early and get a ticket for your spot in the queue. Once doors open, they will call the numbers in order. And now with COVID, they are doing their part in practicing social distancing, so the seats are even more limited and time of wait has increased. But well worth the wait! I am so happy I was able to eat here on my last day in...
Read moreA conveyor belt sushi restaurant located right in the Omicho Market. Our hostel owner recommended this as a great place to try sushi so we came here for lunch.

You need to get a ticket from the reception desk by using the tablet (you can switch it to English) and choose between counter or table. The counter has the conveyor belt continuously moving around in front of you with a variety of options that you can take any time. The tables have one end of the table connected to a ‘track’ that a Shinkansen like train brings food out to as you order it. To order, there is a tablet that has all the options including specials on it (you can switch the tablet to English) and as you order it on the tablet the food is given to you (counter) or sent on the train (table). Price is by what you eat. The different colour plates indicate how much each dish was (and the prices are on the tablet when you order. Overall, fun lunch...
