Their 甘エビ (Sweet Shrimp) base ramen is so good! It's not often that I find shrimp base ramen, so I was very happy. We also ordered some karaage. The batter of the karaage itself is not the crispy type, so it's not exactly my style. But flavor-wise, it was good! We dined here twice during our Kanazawa stay. The first time was excellent. The second time the dish of Ramen aka Koumi was entirely too spicy. I am well versed with spicy food and this was inedible. When I asked the staff for additional broth to tone it down they would not offer any. A shame as the dish was wasted. This ramen place was such a wonderful surprise. I had the dumpling combo— wafu tonkatsu and juicy dumplings with a small bowl of rice. My husband got the amaebi koumi, half size fried chicken, and the fried dumplings.
