I'm a simple man, if I see a curry place I haven't tried before, I have to try it. As we had just returned from a day trip to Shirakawago and were still looking for a place to eat, we put our names on the list for a place at the entrance. About 5 minutes later we were shown to our seat. I chose the Katsu Curry, which was delivered to my seat just a few minutes after ordering.The curry is pleasantly spicy and tastes excellent. The medium portion was so large that I had to fight a little towards the end to finish it all.

This is the most popular curry house in kanazawa where they serve thick black curry sauce with deep fried pork cutlet on top of a bed of rice and cabbage. There are various toppings you can add on as well, also you can select the size of your rice according to your appetite. The thick curry sauce is very flavorful and the pork cutlet is very crispy and everything just blends well together. You may add more cabbage to cleanse your palate as you eat, just ask the staff. For a serious katsu curry, this restaurant serves a mean curry that's spicier than many other generic curries but still far from being spicy hot. It's a dark curry and there's a generous amount poured over, covering all the rice. This is then topped with shredded cabbage and the pork or chicken katsu, then extra sauce drizzled on top. The Rōsu Katsu Curry was crispy on the outside, with a standard cutlet that was a little fatty as you would expect from rōsu that added extra flavour.
