Ramen Shirasagi — Restaurant in Kanazawa

The staff was super cozy and welcoming, explaining us how to order.

I ordered number 6 (soy special with all toppings) and it was just amazing: the noodles were just right; the aromatics added a gentle touch; nice combination of meat and sea flavour; the egg was perfect for my liking. In the end, I finished all the bowl and felt perfectly fine: not bloated nor too full, just right.

Apart from that, I watched how each bowl was assembled and the staff was very careful. You can see the love they put in each bowl.

Overall, amazing ramen prepared by very nice staff.

My favourite ramen so far...

Helpful, friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Simple menu done very well. Care is taken in each step of the dish. I had a nine and my partner had a six. The chicken and dashi broth is rich, thick and quite salty, but doesn't feel cloying or overly sticky like some tonkatsu broths can be. The noodles are perfectly cooked. Generous, tender meat and toppings. The soy eggs were a marvel with dark, jammy yolks. Fresh yuzu rind was put in the bottom of the bowl which livened everything up....

Quick, efficient place around the corner from us. Good ramen, clear soup type so not overly salty. Perfectly soft boiled egg with the jam custard texture centre. The chilli sesame oil (?) stuff was nice. The chicken was super tender a juicy. The pork was a bit tough. We had a salty broth and a soy broth one with extra shallots. We are interested in trying another few places to see if this is meant to be the best ramen around our if we are just not...
