I had the best meal experience so far in Kanazawa here. We, a group of two adults and two kids, arrived at 14:30 and took a numbered ticket to be called. Most seats are counter-seat, so we had to wait around 30 minutes for the four-seat table. While waiting, the male staff kept calling the numbered tickets one by one to make sure everyone was present. We were then guided inside and seated at a table, ordered via a tablet (only Japanese), and the order arrived one by one quickly. Non-alcohol-drinking customers are given 60 minutes of dining time (there's a countdown timer on the tablet); meanwhile, alcohol-drinking ones have 90 minutes. We ordered the recommended menu, which is oden. We ate eggs, potatoes, chikuwa, ebiten, hotate, aburage, konyaku, akamaki, etc. We also had assorted tempura, yasai kakiage set meal, nori chazuke, and yaki onigiri. All was good! Minus another star for the unclear pricing of the grilled fish items. FYI the listed prices are by weight. Our fish collar (¥2000) was almost 50% of the entire meal. Was tasty and grilled well, but price to value was approaching scam territory.
Lastly, they didn’t have any Yuzu Kosho, just hot mustard. About as disappointing as getting socks...
