We love this restaurant! Wish we were in Kanazawa longer. My wife really enjoys tempura and this one is fantastic.

While doing the Golden Triangle we have eaten in a few tempura places and the one thing I can suggest is… if you’re going to eat tempura go to a restaurant that specializes in tempura. Same with seafood, wagyu beef or whatever. This place specializes in tempura and it is very, very good! Not like tempura in the U.S., this was thin and crispy batter unlike anything else we’ve had. I guess takata-style! Hai! Not greasy at all which allows the natural flavors of the ingredients to stand out.

The waitstaff is attentive without being annoying. They helped us order from the menu which included shrimp, yams, squash, oysters, avocado, shiitake mushrooms, white wine and sake. Don’t forget the salted cucumber and cabbage! Very reasonably priced, too!...

We ate here 3 nights in a row. We have been from Ishigaki to Sapporo, all over Japan, and this restaurant is easily in the top 3 of my favorite restaurants in Japan. It's truly incredible. Everything is delicious and staggering when the tempura comes out is great. Much better than all at once. All the side dishes were delicious and I was so happy to see them have smoked Daikon and cream cheese. Loved all the tempura, especially the mushrooms and noto carrots. 3 types of salt is great as well. I love this place so much and recommend it very highly!
