The Best Espresso in Japan – No Contest!
As a self-proclaimed coffee lover and espresso enthusiast, I’ve tried espresso at countless cafés and big-name chains all over Japan — Starbucks, Tully’s, Doutor… you name it. Sadly, none of them ever hit the mark for me. That is, until I walked into Coffee Gallery.
Honestly, I was blown away. The espresso here was on a whole different level — rich, smooth, perfectly balanced, and made with real care. It’s the kind of cup that reminds you why you fell in love with coffee in the first place.

Read moreCoffee shop or Cafe which I love most in Japan. Not so big size but the taste is superb ! Cup of coffee drip is only 500 yen but better than 1000 yen in the big city. Staff can communicate English well and menu are English. Of course, coffee language are not complicated. If you are coffee lover please stop by this small cafe and you will not regret. Not far from the tourist within walking distance. They have coffee beans for sale and they will roast it whenever you order. Really fresh roasted bean available for you in reasonable price. Credit card are welcome. I wanna go back again if I visit Japan next time....

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but when you walk in, it has the clean lines and pastel tones you expect from modern Japanese design, and then…ALL the various coffee beans from around the world that you can try. The owner is a coffee master! Knows his stuff! And yeah, his English is pretty good, so he can give you some insight if there’s a particular bean you’d like to try.
