This is a 50’s style diner bar/restaurant that serves a variety of western style food. I opted for the Shelby Burger set with a passion fruit soda. All in all, the food was fairly delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing in its retro ways. The meal cost me ¥1650 which was not so cheap but par for the course these days for what I had. Shelby is truly a special place in Kobe. The atmosphere was very inviting and the owner was very nice. Being in the restaurant was like being back in America.

The owner was very kind and attentive. Even though he had another large group, he never made me feel neglected and when I finally got my food it was done about as perfectly as any burger I've had in America. The special sauce on top is...
