Two stars for the concept. This food court is a straight-up replica of the modern food halls in the states. Open concept, abundant indoor and outdoor seating, and a full-service bar in the middle. Most of these places in Japan model themselves after the Anaheim Packing District or other trendy food spots in California. The music choice is also a majority of California Punk bands. I enjoyed the basic idea because it is hard to find aesthetically pleasing open dining spots in Japan. It would help if they had heating options for the outdoor patio, which I thought would be a no-brainer since Japan gets pretty cold during the winter months. There is a lack of diversity as usual, and Tooth Tooth must have invested quite a bit in installing this food establishment. They took a disruptive food model and were able to constrain the creative scalability. I am unsure if all the restaurants have a single owner, but it seems like it. This place feels like a buffet with insanely inflated prices, emphasis on highly overpriced food. I can see why this place is popular, definitely a tourist destination, but that is as far as it goes. I give it an "A" for effort but a "D" for execution.

Came here because we were visiting the aquarium upstairs so we just had our brunch here. Thought the food choices were okay, but lacked choices for kids. Food wise, we tried the ramen, and the yakisoba with the Akashi version of takoyaki. The yakisoba was good, it has a smokey flavour and tasted pretty nice. The ramen was just so-so. The whole food hall was clean though. We quickly ate and went to the aquarium.

AVOID SEAFOOD PAELLA restaurant. service was really slow and food not so great. Waited 35 min for the fried plate ( their recommendations), By the time the plate arrived my beer was long gone. The taste was average and a bit cold. oyster didn't convinced me too. Unfortunately worst food experience of our entire visit to Japan. As other reviews noted as well, they lack custom care and quality.

This place has many food stalls with many options. We had Kobe steak 100 grams Y2800, seafood paella Y1900 and kiwi sparkling drink. The location is beautiful by the water and the food is not bad. It’s the only place to eat at this area so if you are hungry give it a try.
