One of the shops inside Hirome Market, it's one of the bigger ones right by the main entrance so there's usually a line during peak hours. Their main dish is the katsuo tataki that Kochi is famous for, you'll be able to see them grill the fish as you wait in line. They provide a set menu with soup and rice so ordering here is usually easier than the other places. And the taste is just as good, so grab a nearby seat, get in line, then get eating!

Myojinmaru market and izukaya is a great place to shop for local cuisine, souvenirs and dine from morning to late evening. Located very close to Kochi Castle this hot spot is popular for both tourists and locals. Everything from fresh seafood, Kochi delicacies to international inspired food, served with a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Fun place to dine with friends.

Incredible katsuo!! They braise the meat right in front of you, which is very fun to watch. The location is fun, at the very center of the busy market. I got the sauce and salt set, which lets you try both flavors. Both the sauce and salt were delicious, but I preferred the salt. After you're done eating, just leave the trays and dishes at the table and the staff will clear them away.

Very tasty food and quick service I had the typical tuna tataki with salt flakes and also had whale and both were very very tasty Whale tasted like fish × pork, pleasant smokey taste The tuna tataki held a delicious smokey taste and the salt flakes properly complemented the savoury flavor of the fish Service was quick and efficient - definitely recommend the place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This store serve famous local food! You can eat a bonito grilled on fire! You order first and be a lane. They burn your bonito fishes in front of the of you so it’s amazing show! Basically it’s very popular place so everybody come when they visit this market. I’m sure you can enjoy this great taste. Only cash is available. Enjoy!

2022/06/01 訪問。 高知の観光スポット"ひろめ市場”へ やってきました。 ひろめ市場は屋台村？フードコート？ と言えば良いのかな。 約50の飲食店､10のお土産屋さんが あり、一部のお店は昼も営業してます。 お店に設置されている席もあるけど、 基本自由席です。400席以上あるけど、 夕方には結構満席になるので、 早めに行くことをお勧めします。 私たちは平日の16時50分頃だったので、 簡単に席を確保できました。 ただし、席には4人用とか2人用とか 書かれているので、相席になることもあります。 実はここへ来るのは2度目(何年も前)。 前回は週末の昼に来たけど、 その時は満席で席の確保が大変でした。 藁焼きの塩たたきが人気の明神丸さん。 藁焼きのパフォーマンスがあるので、 つい食べてみたくなりますよね。 ひろめ市場でも中央の良い場所で 営業をされていました。 カツオは､塩たたきとポン酢が選べます。 両方食べたい人はMIXもあります。 単品､定食､丼、寿司があり、 単品と定食はカツオの枚数によって 小、中､大が揃ってます。単品だけ特大も有り。 ドリンクとのセットメニューもあり、 単品で買うより￥100安いです。 ※価格は2022年当時 ●塩たたき小(5切)と生ビールセット￥1180 塩たたき単品が￥730、 生ビールが￥550なので単品注文だと￥1280。 お得ですね。 ちなみに2023年現在は、 カツオのたたき小が￥800、 生ビールが￥600なので、 セットで￥1300ですね。 実は私も友人もカツオは少し苦手笑 でもこちらのカツオは臭みがなくて、 さらに藁の風味がとても美味しいです。 もう少し、食べたいと思いました！ ●どろめ￥480 現在の価格は不明。 土佐の方言でいわしの稚魚なので、 いわゆる生しらすでいいのかな。 生しらすらしい､少し苦味のある 大人の味ですね。 ●四万十川ほうじ茶￥180 現在の価格は不明。友人の飲み物。 地元の飲み物を置いてあるのは 嬉しいですね。 たたき以外に､ハランボ(腹身を焼いた物) など、ちょっとしたお料理もあったけど、 ひろめ市場にはたくさんのお店があるので、 これからひろめ市場グルメを楽しみます！
