Ok so a few criticisms are that this place had a smoking area that was open making it kind of hard to breathe for me but after letting them know they were quick on closing the door, opening the windows, and turning on a fan which I really appreciated. The service was kind and the food was pretty good. However, in terms of taste the curry seemed to have a sweeter taste than any other indian/Nepal restaurants I've been to before and I think it would be perfect if they just toned down the sweetness just a tad bit. Most people don’t come to Kusatsu for Nepalese/Indian food, but as a resident of a nearby mountain town (Minakami), which doesn’t have any such restaurants, I was very glad to find this place. The pl e is clean and nice with lots of windows, but you can smell the stale tobacco on the walls, which is a bit of a bummer. The spinach chicken curry was amazing with the level three spiciness just right for my taste. The naan to curry ratio was just right as well. And the mango lassi was great with some kind of real mango concentrate that is better than your average...

The service can be really slow. It could also be because I ordered an unusual dish the Nepali dindo and it takes a while to be served. It is not a run of the mill restaurant either as they have a number of unique dishes on the menu which are not available so commonly even in Tokyo.
