Highly recommend this place for dinner if you are in Niseko! Worth driving into Kutchan for this wonderful little restaurant. We got the sukiyaki beef course, and it was such a great dinner. The owner cooked and served us the sukiyaki tableside, all the while explaining the ingredients and the process in how everything was cooked. You can tell that he truly cares about all his customers’ experience of dining at his restaurant. His English is also very good.

Not only was the service excellent, but the dinner was amazing and tasty. The beef sukiyaki was the highest quality Hokkaido wagyu, perfectly marbled, and melted in your mouth.

We arrived at the restaurant with our toddler in a wagon around 6 PM. We almost changed our mind going to another restaurant since we weren’t sure we could manage carrying the wagon upstairs. Luckily, the owner arrived just in time and he kindly offered to help us carry it up together with the staff.

Since we were the first customers (and it was our first time here), the owner generously cooked the first batch of beef for us. We had a great conversation. There’s also a private room available if you’re bringing your little one along.

The food and drink is free flow. The restaurant offer a good selection of wine and other alcohol drink.

We were not sure what to expect with restaurants in Niseko, so we booked a few in advance of our trip. This was one of the places we booked and the sukiyaki was amazing! The restaurant was quiet when we went, being the only ones dining at the time. The owner/server gave us a full run down of the traditional course preparing it right in front of us.
