Amazing experience in a quiet suburb of Kyoto. Pleasant ~10 min walk from train station. We went for a late lunch (3p on a thurs) and got what felt like VIP treatment. The omakase style preparation (choose between ¥4k, 5k, 6k, 8k per person) was delicious and the family who owns the restaurant made us feel like we were their personal guests. Walked away with big smiles on our faces..100% recommended.

The fish cuts are large and the quality is excellent, one of the best experiences in Kyoto and a very local experience that's away from the tourist crowds. If you are in the neighborhood (or not) it's worth the walk. Hisayoshi and his parents are wonderful!

The best sushi experience we had. There is no english menu available, but, with the help of google translate there is no problem communicating. The owner and chefs are sure to keep us feel welcomed and entertained throughout our dinner. Thank you very very much for the ride to train station, great hospitality, wonderful experience, superb maguro, overall dinner is very delicious. Definitely coming back...
