音羽鮓(下鴨音羽鮓) — Restaurant in Kyoto

Authentic Japanese Sushi restaurant with take away option and dining are on tatami mats. Super friendly Japanese Sushi chef and his wife who run the place together. Their knowledge of English is very limited but with some Japanese words and a translation app and their effort we were able to order perfectly what we wanted. Very reasonable pricing too! Menu is small as they are a local sushi place and have to keep everything fresh. Sushi is of course freshly prepared at the moment of ordering so take a bit of waiting time (30min) into account. I really loved this place because it's calm and not touristy and the tastes were really good! I'm going to recommend this to all my friends if they visit Tokyo they have to come here...
