Had been to many Michelin star restaurants but this restaurant has surpassed all the levels of Michelin experience. The food created by the master was magical. You can feel his passion through the taste and presentation. Sitting over the counter and watching him cook is a treat by itself. We took the long course meal for two and price for the same was quite reasonable. The place was super cozy and made some new Japanese friends while sitting there. We got along well discussing our common love towards anime. Read morelovely, quiet, cozy restaurant a bit further off the beaten path. we tried the 10 course dinner. everything was delicious, some of the textures and mouth-feels were fascinating. simple things like bamboo tempura were enhanced with other spices and ingredients and made what seemed like run-of-the-mill dishes take on a new light. overall it was an absolute pleasure dining here. worth every yen.

Chef the staff speak some basic English but with the help of Google translate you can get what you want no problem. The foods are really good and reasonably priced, you get very decent foods in an Izakaya ambience.
