Hidden gem for Italian food. We were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding food and congenial atmosphere of Aliare. We had house specials of Pumpkin Cream Penne and Gorgonzola Pear Risotto and a carafe of wine. Both dishes were very interesting and well prepared. Honestly, it was some of the best gourmet Italian food we’ve had, for a fraction of the price we would have paid in the US. Judging from the reactions of the other diners, I think all of the meals were outstanding, in addition to being unique. Read moreGot a seat right away on a rainy night around 8:30 or 9:00. Ordered a pizza and pasta with clams. Pizza was pretty good, but pasta was the star of the show. Was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Highly recommend. Looking forward to going back to try other pastas! They have an English menu but it’s limited.
Oh also we got French fries because I’m basic. They were fine.
