This little gem of a place is worth the visit if you're into classic, delicious ramen, great service and good vibes. 3 staff that made the experience fun and inviting. Other little appetizers too.
One of the rare places that does spicy ramen properly too. Absolutely loved it. Heat levels from 1-5, I took a 3 and it was comparable to a medium/hot in Canada/USA. I added extra meat and went into a food coma afterwards. The one server spoke English, the other server did a little and the Chef even knew a bit too.
A rich, family style broth that is built upon for each unique dish. A small and cozy venue makes it even more intimate. Support small businesses like these, they deserve every single penny and are the definition and epitome of true hospitality. I'm grateful to have found this spot.

Read moreWe were looking for a place to eat after the Kyudo Experience and this place doesn’t disappoint. Used DeepL to translate the Japanese menu and ordered in Japanese. Staffs are super friendly and courteous. We got the tantanmen (level 3/5) and curry ramen. We both prefer the tantanmen although the curry was also tasty. A spicy level of 2 out of 5 would probably be better for me who can’t eat too spicy but it was so good I “suffered” thru it. All local customers while we were there, someone ordered fried rice and it smelled DELICIOUS. The host lady was also very sweet, we both had a feeling she is the one running the impeccable operation there. I had to make her break a 10,000 yen note and she was apologizing for giving me 1,000 note back and I was like “no no lady I love it please give me the change in...
Read moreGreat, authentic Japanese Ramen Shop. The staff is friendly and efficient, the food was great and it was within steps of the Ryokan where we were staying. We went two nights, one night we ordered the Miso based ramen and the other night we tried the Char-siu, the char-siu being the favorite, tender slices of pork lining the rim of the bowl with a delicious broth. We also had dumplings on the side which were equally delicious. Our Japanese is poor so we used Google translate to figure out which dishes to have and then pointed to the pictures for the staff and all worked out well. Great Ramen, friendly staff,...
