The lady at the entrance of the rooftop bar was incredibly rude. At first she said it’s raining and she doesn’t want anyone to catch a cold hence why we cannot get in and that the inside bar is only for in house guests. Then a few minutes late after we saw almost all kinds of people walk in and there was no rain, she said “there is a dress code” and we don’t fit in when people in our group where wearing dresses and high fashion clothing. We then proceeded to go downstairs and another worker stated that we can get in the bar with this clothing and was perfectly appropriate. He then called the rooftop lady who must’ve had her ego stuck and proceeded to back track his statement and said that we cannot get in even if book a room in the hotel? The 2nd floor has 2 main areas. To the left is a more private area for regulars. I think it is where the owner still bartends. To the right is where normal customers go.
This is a very well stocked bar. Lots of rare bottles. Their spirits selection is very impressive for a bar better known as a cocktail bar.
