Bikash Mahal — Restaurant in Kyoto

When I walked in to this restaurant, as soon as i stepped into the restaurant, i could feel big energy from the staff members. They were really welcoming and very respectful when serving our towels and water. Each step was carefully said and carefully put. There was so much options into the food. I ordered the momo set. I never tried momo before so this was my first time. I would say that this is the best experience ever! The food was very delicious especially the cheese naan. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET CHEESE NAAN!!!! THE CHEESE NAAN IS MY PERSONAL FAVORITE. Even though i was full from eating, the cheese naan didnt stop me from eating it! I enjoyed everything about this restaurant!!!! Everyone who’s looking for an Indian mixed fusion restaurant...

What a wonderful hidden gem! This was easily the best Indian food I've had in all my travels across dozens of countries. Do yourself a favor and get the naan combo with vegetable curry -- the naan here is huge and so good. Everyone here is so nice and really brightened my day every time I came in to say hi and get some great food. As a vegetarian I loved their vegetable curry and the salad that comes with it was amazing with a unique sauce. The hot chai is also great. Highly highly highly recommend this...

I'm writing this review over a week later. I've eaten at several indian restaurants while I've been in japan including in osaka and Tokyo and this place has been the best tasting so far. The naan bread was amazing and full of flavour and the butter chicken was 👌. Don't be afraid to order normal spice, we got mild and it was definitely foreigner friendly with their spice levels.
