If you are a foreigner visiting Kyoto probably just skip this place. quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered a coffee and sandwich, but the interaction started off on the wrong foot when the owner, abruptly denied my request to pay by card, which is fine I guess except the attitudes. I managed to pay using my phone.
My experience further declined when I asked if I could charge my dying phone, only to be met with an unaccommodating and blunt refusal. Additionally, I overheard her speaking in Japanese with another customer, presumably discussing me and the charger issue, rather than addressing it directly with me. Not offering charging is fine, but talking about a customer in front of them assuming they wouldn’t understand was utterly impolite.
What was particularly disconcerting was witnessing a group of foreign men being treated even worse. When one of them entered to purchase a coffee, another who followed was quickly dismissed with a “Customer only, outside” remark, which was quite shocking to me.
In conclusion, this coffee shop did not offer a welcoming environment, especially to foreigners. The owner seemed to prefer serving locals with an apparently better attitude, and as a result, I would not recommend this shop to international visitors looking for a warm and hospitable coffee shop...

We came here for a quick coffee after lunch. The shop was nearly empty—only two people ahead of us had just sat down. My son walked in first, and the woman behind the counter immediately barked at him, “No seat!” We were confused, so I explained we just wanted coffee to go. Her response? In a rude, condescending tone: “Do you have reservations?”
Reservations… for coffee… in an EMPTY shop. The whole interaction felt unwelcoming, unfair, and downright offensive.
There are countless coffee shops with better service and respect for customers. This one? Never ever!
After reading others reviews I realized I am not the only one — the owner is racist and treats foreigners very badly. I cannot believe in a tourist city like Kyoto there can be such a...

The employee - I guess the owner?- Was super rude and dismissive off the bat. then when I went back to confirm that I ordered gluten free and not regular she told me that it's too late - even though she was literally holding the ready made batter bag in her hand. She told me it wasn't possible to change it and it will "take time" and refunded my money without asking if that's even ok. 6 out of the 8 people in the shop had already been served their meals. Absolutely worst service and a disgrace to Kyoto people who are generally friendly and outgoing. I spoke to her in Japanese and I live here - so I think she's not anti tourist she's just Racist.
Also if you hate foreigners don't advertise food that attracts...
