The food was fine (though the beef curry had little meat) but I did not get what I ordered. I ordered the beef curry and their morning set A which came with toast, boiled egg, and a drink. However, I did not get the egg and they charged me with a curry set and single toast which was less food for more money. I know the morning sets were available because somebody that came in after me got one. The food and drinks were all coming out at different times which made it confusing to know when they had finished serving. When I brought up that I was missing part of the morning set, the man raised his voice and insisted that that was not what I ordered. And, there we had a lesson of kindness and generosity and even at some moment we didn't know how to react or what to do, we learned about how to be grateful and accept to receive help without expecting anything in exchange. In terms of the food I wish I had a restaurant like this in my home town, but I can just treasure the memory of being once there and had experienced the smells the textures...
Read moreOur first impression was that of uncertainty as we initially felt like intruders in the home of the old couple that served us, but that feeling was washed away by a delicious home cooked meal served by two very kind folks. The experience was very comforting, leaving us with the strong belief that no one should judge this book by its cover.
