Friendliness is a facade.
Ummmmm so we decided to try this place as the reviews looked decent. And everything was pretty alright until the end of our meal. We left the shop briefly, and headed back in as we forgot to use the washroom. To our shock, the couple said “100yen”. Visibly confused, they repeated again “100yen”
I don’t think I’ve ever came across a cafe that I had a meal from which needed me to pay toilet entry fee. I wonder if they do this to all their customers as we were the last customers for the day.

They had your basic decent drip coffee, but what amazed us were the cheesecake, apple pie, and ham sandwich. The cheesecake was creamy, and the apple pie was tart and flakey. The ham sandwich was the surprise winner, with fresh vegetables and a hint of mustard. Yum!
We’ll be...
