We were looking for a nice rooftop bar for our last night in Kyoto, and boy did we find it! Cicon is located in the sleek Nohga Hotel, and has amazing drinks and wonderful views of the city. The cocktail list is thorough and extensive, but they also offer beer, wine, and mocktails. We ordered the "Peach and Berry" and "Classic Mojito", and they were some of the best cocktails we had during our trip. Perfectly balanced and so refreshing. For food, we ordered the garlic shrimp, falafel, fried fish, and teriyaki chicken tacos. The tacos are perfect for sharing, as they come in pairs (2 tacos for approximately 780¥). The falafel taco was nicely seasoned and our favourite of the bunch.

We discovered this bar on our last night in Kyoto. The food was great with a good selection of drinks. The views of the Kyoto Skyline are spectacular though not 360 degrees. We had a great view of Kiyomizu-dera. Even though it was a cold night there is ample heating. The staff are kind and attentive. Highly recommend.

Came here on our last night in Kyoto and it was absolutely perfect! We caught the train from Sanjo station at 6pm as we wanted somewhere to watch the sunset and it didn’t disappoint. Whilst we initially headed here for a few drinks, we saw the food menu and couldn’t resist the Wagyu Burger and a few fish tacos. The food was amazing and the cocktails were both delicious and GREAT value and the quality was 👌. We arrived at 6:30 at didn’t have to queue at all.
