RESI STAY Gojozaka — Hotel in Kyoto

Simply love this place! Check out their website and book one depending on where you want to go in Kyoto. This one was walking distance to Kiyomizu-dera, where you can just spent the whole day in Kimono shopping up without worries. Take note of the checkin has to be done in kyoto station, walk out of the station slightly left straight towards the taxi stand about 5 mins to the receptionist office building (check the photos) just across the road. After checkin with the friendly and helpful staffs despite busy day, they got us on a shuttle to the apartment. Thanks to the lady whom gave me lots of tips on going around kyoto during the shuttle ride!||||Quiet and the best stay in our entire kansai trip! We stayed 5 nights and every night was comfortable. We walked all the way to Gion Kumo river (30 mins) and back! Took Train to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Ginkakuji, Kinkaku-ji via Kiyomizu-Gojō Station (10 mins walk to station). Bus to Nishiki Market and many places! When checking out we took taxi to Kyoto station only costs around 900 yen with heavy traffic!||||There are convenient stores and eateries within walking distances. Place was very new and clean, with good Aircon and bed/ pillows. Washed our clothes everyday and very quiet every night, weekend too! Highly recommended for long stay, will book again in...

Spacious room. Bunk bed was great & comfy for big group. Open out our 3 huge luggages & still had space to move around, for baby to crawl around. Netflix was a bonus. The dryer was a function in the bathroom. Easy to use. No housekeeping. You vacuum the room yourself and throw out rubbish yourself. The big bin is just downstairs ground floor

Location is good. Nearby walking distance, you got Lawson, 7-11. There're some some cafe in the area too. Gojozaka bus stop is abt 4-5min walk away. Kiyomizu dera is 10min walk away. Very easy accessible and we went early morning to skip the crowds.

There is a play area for children at their reception counter (See picture with big teddy bear). a manageable walk with the luggages. Just the lift was quite small. Still it fits us all in one trip, 2A, 2C + a baby, 3 luggages

Shuttle bus available during their operating hours till 8pm at the reception counter at Kyoto station. We use it on check in day with our luggages and another time when we ended our day at Kyoto station. The shuttle alights you right at the apartment so less walking for the tired legs end of the day. We stayed at this property on 2-4 Nov 2019, the room has all that is needed, good soundproof room, adjustable aircon/heater, netflix TV, washing machine, kitchen utensils, fridge, microwave,etc,etc.,make sure you read the information booklet to get full use of the place and area.|my kids loved the bunkbed!! Only the bed is a bit too thin for my liking..(bunkbed type room)|Have to get the room key from the reception which not in the same property, they have their reception office across kyoto station, which a bit difficult to find the building for the first timer, have to ask and show the map to the local to get to the receptionist office building, they provide free shuttle van to the acommodation.|Apartment itself is quite new, and it’s a walkable distance to all kyoto tourist spot, such as gion, kiyomizu dera, or by taxi cost less than $8,50 USD, (if you travelling with family or with heavy luggages)|All in all this is fair price and good acommodation if you travel...
