Dan dan — Restaurant in Kyoto

I highly recommend you to get a cup of coffee in pretty traditional Kyoto style house if you wanna experience and cozy feeling.

:Shop name Although i didn’t ask staffs what’s the orpoint gin of cafeteria name. But basically Dan Dan(暖々) means in Japan is ‘Getting warmer’

:Atmosphere Pretty cozy yet super quiet place located.

:Exterior and interior I was born and raised in Kyoto. So I felt like my grandpa house when I wasn’t kids… Pretty an old technology of Japanese traditional structure with woods. So lovely.

:Coffee There were two types of black coffee. I got a bit deep taste one and handmade scone. It was so tasty.

:Staffs There were two staffs as husband and wife who is so lovely yet young one.

:Price Decent price just ¥500 which is around $3,35 of coffee I had and handmade scone was ¥300 which is $2. That’s decent yet worth.

:Conclusion I got really satisfied in there. I definitely will be back there. Young family is modest yet they don’t put a huge advertisement but I hope they will have many customers...

暖々(Dan Dan)さんへ伺いました

お店の位置は市内中心部から離れた上京区真盛町(北野天満宮近くの上七軒)に有ります。 訪問したのは(2024.2/25)日曜日の開店時間でした。 注文したのは「りんごのタルト・タタン/暖々珈琲」です。お店の雰囲気は(店内写真撮影はお店の方より許可を得ています)お店の入り口は"上七軒を象徴する"とても上品な店構えで店内も同様でとても趣きが有り静かで素敵な空気感に満ち溢れています。お店の方も親切丁寧な接客対応をなされます。店内は2階もあり(入り口付近の座敷丸テーブルに座ると２階の存在が気付かないと思います、比較的２階の方が落ち着き寛ぐ事が出来きます)入店時2階は、しばらく私だけだったのでお店の素敵な空気感を満喫出来ました。美味しいお菓子と美味しい珈琲と優しいお店の方(店主さん？)そして何よりも静かで素敵なお店の雰囲気と寛ぎ感、「非の打ち所がない」程、素敵なお店です。投稿時点でGoogle Map上にはまだクチコミ件数が2件程しか無く、お店の所在位置も細い路地沿いなので目立つ場所で無く"隠れ家的なお店"に匹敵すると思います。 コメント長くなりましたが最後まで読んで頂き興味を持たれた方は是非一度訪問して観て下さい。"上七軒エリア"は観光客だらけで(特に休日) 上七軒のメイン通りの飲食店は大抵のお店は入店待ちがありますがこちらのお店は2024.2月末時点では直ぐに入店出来ます。
