We were waiting quite long (half an hour or even more) for food to be served. And when I got my dish (gnocchi in broccoli cream sauce), I was about to burst into tears how unpleasant it smelled. The chef burnt parmesan with fire, and it was a disaster. May be for someone it's cool, but I realized I'm not a fan of burnt parmesan at all. I left food almost untouched. I understand that may be I wasn't lucky with the dish choice. My husband said his dish was OK, he was hungry and could eat anything. But the lunch menu had little variety, just a few options, all in Japanese. It was hard to choose the right food. Besides, the portions turned to be small and overpriced. Another thing is that we were sitting too close to the kitchen, literally in a meter from chef, and I could see how they cook food, and I felt sick for some reason. Especially when I saw them cleaning the plates from sauce spots with a piece of cloth before serving to the clients. Making the salad with bare hands. May be it's just me, I'd simply prefer not to see how you cook MY food as well as the whole cooking process. We came here specifically because of the high reviews. What a disappointment it was... We wasted our lunch, time, had to cancel going to another sightseeing because it was too late. The mood was not great either. It looks like locals come here to enjoy the foreign vibe, unusual (not native) food, and they are happy. I perfectly understand that, it's all right. But for some people these high reviews can be misleading. I hate to say it but this restaurant was not the best...

Cozy little Italian restaurant in Kamishichiken owned by a geisha Umeha-san. Very nice and relaxing interior with a mini garden in the back. There is bar seating and two larger tables. We came as a large group (9 people) for lunch and although it was just the chef and Umeha-san, the overall experience was very good. We spent the whole afternoon there. The pasta was made to al dente and the chef was accommodating with the kids who couldn’t eat spicy. My favourite is the matcha tiramisu for dessert - a must have! There is a seasonal menu and it changes quite frequently. Lunch opening times vary depending on the month so please be sure to check the Instagram for monthly updates. I want to come back to try their dinner menu but probably with a...

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at バール ne? and it was truly a delightful experience. The mushroom risotto surpassed all expectations: it was the best risotto I've ever tasted! The spaghetti was another highlight of the meal, cooked to perfection and paired with a delectable sauce, it was a pasta lover's dream come true. Also, the chef's interpretation of the tiramisu was simply divine. The server added a special touch to the evening with their attentive and friendly demeanor, contributing to the overall excellence of the dining experience. The ambiance, a combination of cozy and sophisticated, was the perfect backdrop to this gastronomic adventure. This hidden gem delivered an exceptional and memorable Italian dining...

This Italian restaurant has a small but nice food menu with 3-4 entries and 2-3 main courses which guarantees freshness of the products. The food was good and because the size of the dishes was rather small there was space left for desserts. The wine list leaves choises of good white and red Italian wine, and Prosecco. Additionally there are some standard appetizers and some pizzas on a separate menu. The host hast spent several years as a cook in Italy and knows how to cook. Surprisingly a Geisha with very good English skills showed up. So, there are several good reasons to visit this place.
