Elegant and sleek atmosphere, offering a handful of exquisite, carefully crafted patisseries coupled with a creative offering of drinks ranging from classic matcha to revisited infusions and coffee inspired glasses. This place stands out midway between the two major temples to visit, it offers a welcoming break to unwind and enjoy excellent friendly service and a minimalist atmosphere. The lavender cheesecake could highlight the flavor of the lavender without compromising on too sweet results. The upper gelatine layer could be improved by using a glazing or thick coulis of agar and lavender rather than a gelatine film I think. However it doesn't hinder the light taste the cheesacke offers. The revisited coffee mixtures are a breeze to try out. Highly...

Lovely hidden gem with delicious coffee, cosy atmosphere and delightful, tasty treats and cakes. And the owner was extremely helpful, wonderful service.

Unfortunately we missed out on their signature Lavender Cheesecake (sold out, and for good reason 😋) but enjoyed immensely our Macadamia Nut Latte's (both hot and iced) with a slice each of the delectable Sakura Cherry Blossom and Strawberry Cheese Terrine, and Rice-flour Carrot Cake.

Highly...

We stumbled upon this charming café on our way to a garden, and ended up eating our way through nearly the whole menu—no regrets! The cakes are out of this world. I had the strawberry sakura cake (a dream!) and a croque madame that was so light and perfectly balanced, with an egg that was just chef’s kiss. The matcha? Easily one of the best I’ve had in Kyoto so far. To top it all off, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. A...

My friend and I were passing by and this cafe caught our eye so we decided to stop in. The atmosphere is relaxing and the decorations are so nice. We ordered the Osmanthus Lemonade, Lychee Violet Fizz, and Cardamom x Earl Grey Madeleines. Everything was so tasty, the drinks were super refreshing, and the presentation was immaculate. Highly recommend!! They were foreigner friendly as well so definitely stop by and check it out.

The café's menu gives you pairing options and rates the compatibility of flavors between drinks and desserts. I had the lavender cheesecake and mint mocha latte. It was phenomenal. The man behind the counter was exceptionally polite; and the place offers a nice, peaceful, and cozy atmosphere. It's perfect for an after-lunch snack or a relaxing denouement to sightseeing activities. I can't recommend this place enough.
