This cafe was like a warm hug from home as an American traveler longing for some simple but delicious comfort food after a week of Japanese cuisine. The owner is so kind and hospitable and the cafe atmosphere is cute and cozy. The coffee was amazing and so was the daily breakfast special. So good we came back a second time! Honestly, the most satisfying meal and coffee we had during our time in Kyoto. I can’t recommend enough!

Super lovely cafe. Open for breakfast, the owner makes amazing looking and tasting food. The coffee was excellent and the food was hot and wonderful. The owner was very kind and welcoming. Will definitely be going again as it is a great place for weekend brunch.

The coffee and buttered toast were both so good that my wife and I came here every morning we had in Kyoto. The wonderful lady that served us greeted us with a smile and gave us a heartfelt bow and wave on our way out.
