It is a bit small, cosy would probably be a better word I guess, but it is technically inside of the Museum of Kyoto so that is to be expected. That being said, after you walk in it seems you are transported it time a bit and you are able to relax and enjoy an above average cup of coffee for cheaper than one at a nearby Starbucks.

The morning set is a really good deal, ¥730 (tax already included) to the first 20 customers of the day until noon. That includes a cup of coffee, sandwiche (which is VERY good), and salad. They also have a signature vegetable based salad dressing you can buy that is apparently pretty popular.

You can also get a “drink ticket” if you want to go their frequently which is like a “buy 10 cups of coffee get 1 free” type of deal for ¥4,500. Not a bad deal really.

Overall a very nice place to spend a few hours, or more or less depending on your particular mood at...

You got to try the mocha latte exclusive for the museum of Kyoto. Pleasantly light sweet, strong mocha flavor and lovely presentation. Yummy! We also ordered black espresso, beef sandwich, pasta. All are delicious. Note that they seem not having enough waiters so the waiting line could be long. Funny thing is that the exit will exit the museum as well. We just show the receipt to museum staff and...

The food was really fresh and delicious..The cafe is classy and is one of the famous outlet of Maeda coffee .The staffs are very polite and friendly..The cake and coffee tasted awesome...I highly recommend Maeda coffee...Please try cake and...
