I really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. There was an English-language menu with pictures, so it was easy to place my order, which was done at an ordering kiosk. I just had to introduce my money into the machine and press the number of the dish that I wanted. The restaurant was bright and clean, the price was reasonable, the food was prepared quickly and it really hit the spot. Definitely a place that I would frequent, if I ever find my self in this...

Found this spot whilst in a more quieter area of Kyoto. It’s the perfect spot for lunch - the set menu consisting of mackerel, rice and soup was simple, delicious and a good price.
