After a long hike up to the top of Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine, we were greated by the workers calling out "cheese beef." Naturally, we stopped. While they did try to upsell us into buying one more than we needed, it was the end of the night and I know they were trying to get rid of product. They were very friendly and chatty with us. As we were waiting for them to heat them up, my friend N. Said "daisuki cheese" a couple and made them laugh. Once we received the "cheese beef" N bit into it and immediately said "oishi!" She wasn't lying, they were great. As we were walking away, she fumbled and dropped it on the ground only after one bite! The workers were kind enough to bring her over and give her a new one for free! We were all laughing about the situation and when I showed them her picture, they were on the verge of tears!
