Got it for takeaway to bring home, tasted good but nothing too special, possibly because it had gone cold by the time I ate it. The store itself is fun and cheerful with bright yellow decor.

The highlight was definitely the French toast, we all agreed it was the best among what we tried. I should’ve gotten a few more slices! It’s a bit of a walk from the train station, but I’d love to come back and have breakfast there next time, it’d probably taste even...

First Japan trip, and after enjoying MANY convenience store egg sandwiches, discovered Ninuki Kyoto. This place is egg sandwich HEAVEN! The egg sandwiches are certainly more gourmet than their konbini counterparts — the omelette sandwich contains grainy mustard, and the egg salad is more saucy, and paired with cucumber slices.
