How can a chef at an Indian restaurant not know how to make naan that's not burnt?! I wasn't gonna review, i'm not a reviewer, but i feel i have to in this case. Footnotes: on lunch break, had leftover Indian curry with no naan so felt hmm let me get some quickly and go home and enjoy. Went to this place, paid 660 yen for a naan, okay, no biggie. Sat down waited for my naan, smelt something burning, was like eh prob not mine, got it, left, got home, unveiled my naan and one side looked like charcoal. I can't eat this! Rode my bike back to the restaurant, pointed out (quite calmly and politely that "i can't eat this, it's too burnt). They said would make another. Okay. Sat down, looking at my watch lunch time going... then 'chef' held up newly done naan "this okay?" (it's burnt af) i'm like fine (in my head, i'm on my lunch break i need to actually finish this and get back to work). Got home, opened the packaging and found the side i was shown was just as burnt (gd whatever), but wait, the other side, which wasn't burnt before is now burnt, and i just CAN'T. This place is close to where i live, I've recommended ppl to this place (despite the food being subpar), it's a bit overpriced but what isn't these days, but COME ON!. Are you serious? I'll never go back there. And if you want to really enjoy some good naan that's not ridiculous there are WAY BETTER options in the area. That place is a joke. DO BETTER NOORANI. Do better. And to whoever reads this, trust me when i say, you can...
Read moreIt is nice restaurant; however, the staffs seem to be a little rude initially. We wanted to order the pulav set and one D set. The pulav set have two curries and they said that at the lunch time they only have one veg curry so I will get the two same curries with the pulav set. And, the staff say they will not provide option of additional veg curry in the lunch menu options. Usually at the Indian restaurant if they don't have veg curry option or very limited veg curry option in lunch menu so they provide some addition options from a-la-carte menu to chose from for the lunch menu. So, we finally went with the two veg set. The daily veg curry was mix dal (it was a mix of many variety of lentils and beans like garbanzo, kidney beans), very healthy and tasty like homemade. The veg set also comes with pakoda (fritters). There was lentil onion fritter on that day with mint chutney. That was also good taste. The nan was flaky and crispy, however, little burnt. I like that taste but many people may not like little burnt taste so shop people should be careful with the nan. The finally the masala tea also good taste. I was surprised with the price of the kulcha and some other items in the a-la-carte menu. Those are...
Read moreGood food in a spacious restaurant. The menu selection is quite extensive so be prepared to look at a few menus. The menus are in both Japanese and English. They offer one children's curry set that comes in a cute kid's plate. No highchairs or booster seats though. I thought it was a little on the expensive side for...
