The first time I went there, I had the pork ramen, a perfect affair, The broth was thick, the pork so tender, The noodles were soft, the taste, a wonder.
The second time I went back, I tried the dragon bone ramen, a different track, The broth was clear, yet so flavorful, The toppings were fresh, so delectable.
On the third visit, I decided to try, The spicy ramen, with flavors that make me high, The broth was spicy, the heat so intense, The noodles, so satisfying, a perfect defense.
I ate here thrice in just two days, And each time, I was left in a daze, The ramen here is simply the best, I cannot get enough, I must confess.
So, if you're in Kyoto, don't think twice, Come to Ramen Kyoryu, it's worth the price, For an experience that's simply divine, It's a place where you'll...
Read moreAmerican here! I wandered in to this little shop by myself one evening and I can’t tell you how glad I am that I did. It’s small and unassuming but the ramen broth was amazing and the egg was perfect. You order at the little machine outside, and then it will spit you out a receipt which you give to the cook. I believe it’s a husband and wife, and he seemed to speak some English. The lower cooking area has 5 seats, but I believe there is seating upstairs. I got the spicy pork ramen with an egg added on. It was so good - I’m telling yall this was maybe the best ramen I’ve had thus far in Japan. Also their water was strangely tastey as well, so maybe that’s why their broth is so good??
Anyway just go, it was exceptional, especially for the price. Make sure you bring cash, and small bills or coins for...
Read morePros: Really cool local ramen which I discovered by walking about the area. Ordered with a vending machine. Food then delivered within minutes. Very cheap and decent quality, better than what you paid for. I can’t really give you full detail about the ramen as people have different preference. This is the place you could go when you are feeling hungry at midnight. Give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed. Cons: Small dinning area on ground floor with another dinning area upstairs. Not ideal for family with young children. May have some trouble ordering as very little English available other than pictures (I can read...
