Charming old school cafe ran by lovely Oba-chan.
We just stopped by for a coffee after visiting Gio-ji temple. We could not resist after seeing a row of momiji and flower pots in front of the store, and we were glad we did.
This is a kind of cafe that you want to relax and take things slow. Once you enter, you can tell that this place is a product of love and care of someone. From well care plants around the store, decoration, and cleanliness.
The service was what i call a classic kyoto hospitality. It was genuine, welcoming, and warm.
Food i can not comment, but the coffee i had was a good classic siphon coffee. If we had time, we would love to bring a book and spend many hours in this...

   Read moreI'm so sorry for the late review, but i lost this resaurant. We apeared there at 5pm, and i really wanted lunch, because we walk a lot, and i wanted some kare risu. We chose this one, because they have pancakes. We found 2 old ladies, and they said they dont have curry, but they can cook at these moment only for me. We are alone at these restaurant... My friend wanted pancakes and they served 2 plates of pancakes, and later my curry.
