I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. I rarely leave reviews unless the restaurant exceeded my expectations and this one definitely did. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed the beautiful presentation of each plate. What stood out to me was the impeccable service by the staff, especially by Rinka-San and the other male waiter who I did not get his name, unfortunately. We stayed at Garrya Nijo Castle for the Kyoto leg of our Japan trip. We knew after the first breakfast that this place was extremely special. The quality of ingredients, balance of textures and flavours, and pristine service really stood out from many hotels we have stayed at in North America and Europe. I would personally say this is the best steak I’ve eaten in my life and I have traveled quite a lot. Don julio from Argentina doesn’t deserve its Michelin stars at all. Shame on them to say they’re the best steak house in the world because they’re steak is as bad as it gets compared to here. I will dream of this wagyu course for the rest of my life. Also the waitress are as kind as you could wish for someone to be great people that you have working here thank you for the experience.
